Initial appointments last approximately one hour and are for horses who have not been seen by Gadd Osteopathy before. We will take a case history and examine your horse so as to establish a diagnosis. If appropriate, treatment will then be carried out.

Initial appointments last approximately one hour and are for riders who have not been treated by Gadd Osteopathy before. We will take a case history and assess you so as to establish a diagnosis. If appropriate, treatment will also be carried out. PLEASE NOTE: A warm and private space will be required.

Rider follow-ups

Follow-up appointments last approximately 40 mins and are for riders who have been treated by Gadd Osteopathy before. We will assess your progress since your last appointment, the majority of the time is then spent on treatment. PLEASE NOTE: A warm and private space will be required.

Ridden osteopathic assessment’

Ridden assessments last approximately 30 minutes. We will observe you and your horse under saddle so as to establish any biomechanical dysfunctions in the partnership. Exercises and advice specific to you will also be provided to help you achieve your riding goals.

Canine osteopathy

These appointments last approximately 30 minutes. We will take a case history and examine your dog so as to establish a diagnosis. If appropriate, treatment will also be carried out. PLEASE NOTE: Veterinary consent for treatment may be required if your dog is undergoing vet treatment.

Payment: Card – BACS are all accepted forms of payment. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
Cancellation policy: We appreciate that your plans may change and you may need to reschedule your appointment. Should you need to reschedule or cancel please give us AT LEAST 48 hours notice. Failure to give the required notice period may result in a 100% charge.
Mileage Fees
The practice operates on a zone basis and therefore WE DO NOT CHARGE MILEAGE if you are based within one of our catchment zones. We cover a wide area of the south of England, including Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire.
